City of Vacaville Website Statement of Purpose

PURPOSE

Provide a communication vehicle for the City organization and the community.

Provide accurate and current information that is relevant to achieving the City's mission.

Offer clear and simple methods for citizens to use on-line services and contact staff.

GOALS

Ensure that our Internet presence is inclusive and representative of City relations with its community leaders, organizations, businesses and residents.

Showcase the City organization's accomplishments, programs, projects and events.

Encourage citizen participation in our City government and educate citizens about how government works.

Promote our Economic Development Program based on the benefits of a Vacaville business location. Support the City's efforts to attract new businesses and facilitate the expansion of existing businesses.
