CITY COACH SPECIAL SERVICES
Transportation Services for Persons with Disabilities
Door-to-door Paratransit service is also available to individuals with certified disabilities. Applications for certification may be obtained at the Public Works Department in City Hall, by calling 449-5170 or by downloading the application here. Reservations for rides anywhere in Vacaville must be made by the close of normal business, the day prior to date of service requested.
City Coach Special Services is Vacaville's American Disabilities Act (ADA) transit service for individuals with disabilities.
WHERE DOES SPECIAL SERVICES GO?
City Coach Special Services operates within the city boundaries of Vacaville. Any person who is unable to use general public fixed-route transit service, such as Vacaville City Coach, is eligible for City Coach Special Services.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
One-Way ADA Fare $2.00
20-Ride ADA Punch Pass $39.00
You must pay the driver at the time of the pick-up, or show a 20-Ride Special Services Punch Pass to the bus driver.

APPLICATIONS
Persons with disabilities which prohibit them for using City Coach fixed-route services may apply for and receive a Paratransit/Special Services Card. This Card allows the recipient to receive door-to-door transportation services. Upon request, appointments can be made for staff persons to provide information about the service and the application process in Spanish.

CAN I RIDE CITY COACH FIXED-ROUTE?
YES! Seniors ages 62 or older and individuals with disabilties can ride City Coach fixed-rotue at the reduced Senior/Disabled fare of $0.75.
City Coach staff encourage individuals with disabilites to take advantage of the independence and flexibility that is provided by our fixed-route bus system. We can teach you how to ride City Coach fixed-route through our mobility training program, which is FREE of charge! Please call us at (707) 449-6000 for more information and details.
City Coach requires proper identification to receive the fixed-route bus reduced fare. Click here for a Disability ID Card Application. You may also go the Department of Public Works at 650 Merchant Street (City Hall), or call 449-5170 to request an application.
TAXI PROGRAM
The City of Vacaville administers the Half Fare Discount Taxi Script Program, which provides qualified individuals the opportunity to use the services of Vacaville’s local Taxi Cab company at half the regular fare. Taxi cab services through the use of this program are limited to the city limits of the City of Vacaville and to elderly and handicapped residents in the unicorporated area adjacent to Vacaville's city limits.
Qualifications for the Taxi Script Program:
