Plans and Reports

  • Residential Activity Report lists various single-family and multiple-family residential projects which have been approved by the City. Also provides a map showing the approximate location of the projects and provides contact information.

  • Infrastructure, Facilities and Services Status Report
Published in February 2007, the report is prepared each year as part of the annual implementation of the Planned Growth Ordinance.  The report provides the status on current levels of service for current city infrastructure including roadways, wastewater treatment, water supply and drainage.  The report also provides a 5 year forecast of impacts on City infrastructure given projected levels of development.

  • Municipal Service Review & Comprehensive Annexation Plan
  • City Gateways Plan
This plan outlines a comprehensive program to dramatically improve the way the City of Vacaville is perceived from the freeway over a period of ten years. This would be accomplished by creating a more attractive and unique visual experience for travelers along Interstate Highways I-80 and I-505 as they pass through the City. The plan will serve as the City's official guide to direct relevant aspects of public and private development activity adjoining the two freeways.
  • General Plan Housing Element
The Housing Element is a state-mandated part of the City's General Plan and contains policies and programs to address the City's housing need through 2007.  The document also demonstrates that there is an adequate supply of vacant residential land to meet the City's future housing need.  The City Council adopted the Housing Element in December 2001 and amended it in October 2003.  In January 2004, the State Department of Housing and Community Development certified that the document is in full compliance with State of California Housing Element Laws.
  • Historic Population Growth
This information has been compiled from US Census Data and State of California Department of Finance estimates.
  • California Uniform Building Code - 2007 Updates
  • Comparison of the UBC 2001 to UBC 2007
