Role of the Housing and Redevelopment Commission

The Commission function is advisory to the City Council, the Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vacaville, and the Board of the Housing Authority of the City of Vacaville on matters relating to redevelopment and housing. The Commission recommends policies pertaining to redevelopment and housing, receive and review reports prepared by staff and make recommendations on the budgeting of funds, the design of programs and the establishment of policy guidelines for the redevelopment and housing functions of these agencies.

The Housing and Redevelopment Commission meets the third Wednesday of each month. The agenda and minutes for the meeting are posted on the City’s website.
