Community Law Enforcement Academy

The purpose of the six-week civilian academy is to acquaint the community with the job duties and responsibilities faced by police personnel while performing their duties. The academy affords knowledge through exposure and experience. The activities, presentations, and classroom environment introduce the participants to police practices and problem-solving techniques. The academy also provides an opportunity for police staff to gain a better understanding about the issues and concerns that impact the community.

Next class begins on March 23, 2010
