Prevent Home Burglaries

Here are a few tips to keep you from becoming a victim of a residential burglary:
- Start a Neighborhood Watch Group - call 449-5432 for details
- Close and lock all exterior doors (including interior & exterior garage doors)and windows (including small bathroom windows)
- Don't flaunt your possessions (windows open, empty boxes)
- Make your home look like you are there even when you are not:
- Trash toters out for the shortest time possible
- Lawn Trim
- Light on a timer
- Radio on talk radio station
- Front porch and driveway clear of circulars, advertising, newspapers. etc.
