The Economic Vitality Roundtable was established to bring together a varied group of interested parties to share ideas and work together to improve Vacaville’s economy and to assist in the shaping and implementation of Vacaville’s Economic Vitality Strategy 2003 and to offer value to all the participants in the process.  We are currently in the process of updating out Economic Vitality Strategy, and a draft copy of the new document can be found here.

The Roundtable meets monthly. The current agenda and minutes are available on this site.

The Roundtable provides the method for local government to work with the private sector to enhance the economic base of the community.

The Goals of the Economic Vitality Roundtable include:

• Identify and maximize the use of existing public and private resources.
  
• Provide coordination and eliminate duplication of efforts.
  
• Identify, support and actively participate in targeted and broadcast marketing efforts.
  
• Actively participate in efforts to grow, recruit and retain industrial and commercial businesses.
  
• Assist in annual evaluation of Economic Vitality program and recommend future efforts.
